Tawny color of medium intensity. It stands out for its red fruits, prune and licorice scents wrapped in pastry, black pepper and vanilla hints from the oak barrel. Round, with pleasant structure, balanced acidity and elegant tannins.
Founded in 1890 and currently run by the family’s 5th generation, a young and dynamic team that has turned Manzanos into one of Rioja’s largest growers with over 300 Has of their own vineyards and 3 wineries, including Rioja’s oldest winery in Haro as well as the oldest winery in neighboring Navarra.
