Bright, straw yellow colour with green tinges. Aromas and flavours of fresh citrus and pear with slight herbal notes. Medium-bodied, dry, fresh and crisp, with a good balance between the fruit and the acidity. Nice lingering finish.
LATIDO is a very personal project of oenologist Sara Martínez-Lagos and husband León Perez. The name LATIDO DE SARA means “Sara’s heartbeat” and it was chosen to honor and remember Sara’s father who passed away several years ago from a heart attack. Sara works with bodegas San Martin de Unx near the town of Olite (just 50 miles east from the DO Rioja line) to produce a remarkable Garnacha.
