With a bright salmon robe, this generous cava has a fine stream of bubbles forming a true corona. The nose is rich with aromas of wild berries and redcurrant. On the palate it begins as slightly piquant with spicy notes. The fine and enduring bubbles are well accompanied by a balanced acidity leaving notes of brioche on a long finish.
Emendis is family winery named after the first woman recorded as living on the winery’s estate in the village of Castellet i La Gornal (Barcelona Province), which dates back to 1186. The vineyards consists of 48 hectares of clayey soil, low in organic material and chalk but with a high magnesium content which brings the acidity necessary to maintain the fresh taste of their white wines and Cavas.
