Violet red wine showcasing an aromatic nose of sweet strawberries, raspberries and cherries with a balsamic touch, caramel and spices from the oak ageing. Firm, yet sweet tanins lead to a long and refreshing with red fruit aftertaste.
LATIDO is a very personal project of oenologist Sara Martínez-Lagos and husband León Perez. The name LATIDO DE SARA means “Sara’s heartbeat” and it was chosen to honor and remember Sara’s father who passed away several years ago from a heart attack. Sara works with bodegas San Martin de Unx near the town of Olite (just 50 miles east from the DO Rioja line) to produce a remarkable Garnacha.
