Cá Di Bruno | Barbera D’Alba Superiore - 2019 (ORGANIC)

Made exclusively with organically-farmed Barbera grapes from a 5 Ha vineyard planted near the town of Neive nearly 40 years ago, this harmonious red offer fresh aromas of cherries, and raspberries, medium bodied, with silky tannins and a long-lasting finish. Ideal to pair with cheese, pasta and risotto.

Established in 1947, Azienda Agricola Massimo Rivetti is dedicated to returning Piemontan wine to traditional farming and winemaking methods with its 70+ year-old vines. In the vineyard, this means planting 20 different types of herbs around the vines to avoid using herbicides. Pheromones are used to “confuse” insects so that pesticides aren’t needed either. Harvest is done exclusively by hand. Fermentation is conducted using only indigenous yeast from their own grape skins, and the use of sulfites is minimized without compromising quality. (about 70% less than the industry average).
